Al Kessel and The Never Too Late Band

Al Kessel and the Never Too Late Band

The "Never Too Late Band" as it exists today, was originally the house band for the Heartland Hayride, a live radio show on wdvrfm 89.7 featuring mostly classic country music dating back to 2001.

About the Band

Back then they were called “The Kilocycle Cowboys”. The current band “The Never too Late Band” Al Kessel (rhythm guitar), Bill Brandon( lead guitar), Amy Lynn (vocals), Pete Macor (bass), Bruce Algera (Steel Guitar), and Kyle Miholics (drums) perform at the reinvented, Grand Ole Opry type show called the “Hopewell Hayride” in Hopewell , NJ. The bands most popular genre is, of course, classic country music but the versatile group also brings in light light rock, bluegrass, and even pop and rockabilly. Since their departure from the Heartland Hayride, Al has become the promoter, producer and leader of the band to keep the show going. He is determined to continue bringing quality country music to the loyal audience that has followed them to their new home, “THE HOPEWELL HAYRIDE SHOW”.
