Joe has been playing country since 1966. He switched from rock to country when he couldn't fins a rock band to play in while he was stationed on Okinawa. There was a country band without a bassist so Joe got in as a bassist, never having played a bass before, and has played bass ever since. The first country artist he backed was Merle Travis, who visited Okinawa on a USO tour. Since then, he has had the pleasure of opening for or backing stars like Reba, George Jones, Faron Young, Freddie Hart, and Vern Gosdin. There are too many to mention all of them.

Joe is dedicated to presenting traditional style country music. It's not necessarily old music but done in the traditional style. So pull up a chair and enjoy some of the best country you'll ever hear from a local band.
